During your internship, we will assign you responsibilities and tasks that will provide you with a concrete vision of a career working within a firm.
At the start of your career, it is important to explore different areas in order to develop your own professional identity. By performing an internship with us you can thusly explore different areas of expertise and better define your career interests.

The Internship
Week 1
During the first week, you will take part in a Welcome session and a training to familiarize yourself with our:
- Methodology
- Professional standards
- Organizational culture
- Internal practices
- Software used
This will also be the chance to meet your colleagues.
When starting off in a new environment, it is normal to ask a lot of questions. For this reason, you will be assigned a personal advisor who will be happy to answer your questions and assist you throughout your internship.
Over the following weeks and months
As the weeks pass, you will gain in confidence and begin to master our work methods. You are now ready to perform assurance mandates for our clients, accompanied by one of project managers and other interns, depending on the complexity of the mandate.
With Demers Beaulne, you’ll have the chance to participate in all stages of a mandate. An audit mandate usually takes 2 to 3 weeks to complete.
Preparation for the UFE
The UFE is, without a doubt, a demanding and stressful experience for most aspiring chartered accountants. We know this and we are committed to best prepare you through simulations, monitoring and workshops on, among other things, writing techniques and stress management.
Every year we form a UFE Coaching committee that is made up exclusively of individuals who have recently passed the UFE, whom we refer to as Coaches. Each UFE candidate is paired with a Coach of their choosing who will keep them motivated, share their experience and offer them helpful advice. In addition, your Coach will ask you several questions similar to those asked in the UFE and quickly correct your answers.
Each year, Demers Beaulne has an impressive UFE success rate!
