Conseiller(ère) Impartition comptable et financière

As part of the accounting and financial outsourcing team, the incumbent will be involved in customers' general accounting for the full accounting cycle. In addition, they will provide customers with support and assistance with the monthly closing of accounting books. This job requires a variety of interactions with managers and associates, as well as directly with customers.

  • Manage customer portfolios under his supervision;
  • Analyze and prepare financial statements, including related reporting;
  • Support and train customers in accounting matters (accounting entries; questions relating to social and tax legislation, etc.);
  • Supervise, train and review people working under the mandates assigned to the consultant;
  • An important resource for special mandates requiring high levels of expertise (e.g. preparation of a year-end dossier);
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of customer procedures.
  • Relevant accounting studies;
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position;
  • Practice experience;
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting software (such as Quickbooks Online, Acomba, Simply Accounting, Quickbooks, etc.) and the MS Office suite;
  • Knowledge of Caseware and Taxprep software;
  • Knowledge of payroll and benefits processing;
  • Ability to manage several mandates simultaneously, sense of priorities;
  • Autonomy, rigor, dedicated team player, collaborative spirit, concern for providing an optimal customer experience are essential qualities for the success of this position.
  • Bilingualism (spoken and written);
  • Travel to customer sites (when required).
