Under the responsibility of the immediate manager and in collaboration with the members of the department, the incumbent will carry out various administrative tasks to contribute to the optimal functioning of the teams. He/she will be assigned according to the needs of the various departments when replacing vacancies or work overload, and will then interact on a daily basis with collaborators and customers. A 100% presence is required at the Montreal office. This job occasionally requires a replacement at reception (lunch, end of day, vacations).

Taxation

  • Printing and transmitting T1/T2/T3/T5013 tax returns
  • Printing of special forms (rolling and CDC)
  • Preparation of proxies for signature by customers and transmission of proxies.
  • CaseWare opening and rolling.
  • Archiving of tax forms and signed customer authorizations in doc.it.

Reception section

  • Receive and route internal and external calls;
  • Welcoming customers and staff;
  • Sort mail and prepare registered mail;
  • Send various documents and parcels by courier;
  • Keep the reception area (including meeting rooms) tidy and presentable;
  • Ensure the smooth organization of events taking place at the Montreal office (kitchen preparation, tidying up, etc.).

  • DEP, AEC or DEC in a relevant field or relevant work experience related to the position;
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in a similar position;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Experience in a professional services environment (an asset);
  • Excellent French skills (written component);
  • Functional English (spoken and written);
  • Good command of the MS Office suite and computer skills;
  • Self-reliance, resourcefulness and a dedicated team player are qualities that are sought after and essential to the success of the position.
