Technicien(ne) Comptabilité fiscale canadienne et administration

Au sein du service de fiscalité, vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec l’équipe de la fiscalité canadienne. Vous aurez à soutenir et à accompagner une équipe passionnée et engagée de fiscalistes au niveau comptable, administratif et dans la gestion des divers mandats auprès de la clientèle. Vous serez un joueur clé dans l’efficacité opérationnelle et administrative. Ce travail nécessite des interactions quotidiennes avec plusieurs membres de l’équipe ainsi qu’avec quelques intervenants externes.

  • Prepare accounting entries (especially those arising from tax transactions and reorganizations);
  • Prepare bookkeeping and bank reconciliations for entities with few transactions (trusts, management companies, etc.), but with tax peculiarities;
  • Prepare reconciliation of balance sheet tax items (including sales tax, DAS and foreign taxes);
  • Prepare accounting and tax reconciliations and supporting documents in response to requests for information from tax authorities or third parties (particularly as part of due diligence);
  • Validate notices of assessment and follow up payment of statements of account with tax authorities and partners;
  • Contact the tax authorities;
  • Prepare tax returns and forms (T1, T2, T3, T5013, T2057, T2054 etc.);
  • Ensure that all ad hoc requests are dealt with;
  • Support the team in carrying out internal mandates and projects;
  • Ensure files are filed and documented.
  • College studies in accounting or administration;
  • At least 2 years’ relevant experience (tax experience in a professional services firm is a valuable asset);
  • Strong organizational skills, energy, rigor, dedicated team player, initiative and resourcefulness are essential to the success of this position;
  • Motivation to collaborate in a growing professional environment;
  • Strong sense of commitment to colleagues, customers and assignments.
