Our tax department has enjoyed enviable growth in recent years. Our tax professionals are creative and on top of the latest legislative changes in tax planning. Working in collaboration with a number of the firm’s stakeholders, the incumbent is responsible for a variety of files requiring frequent interaction with clients and associates. In addition, the incumbent will act as a resource person for assurance professionals on all tax matters.   • Responsible for reorganization projects;
  • Supervises and handles compliance mandates for certain strategic customers;
  • Involved in the firm’s growth through business development, recruitment and training;
  • Acts as a coach for tax staff
  • 4 to 6 years’ experience for a director role and more than 7 years for a senior director role;
  • CPA designation and a Master’s degree in taxation or completion of the CICA In-Depth Tax Course;
  • Critical thinking, a dedicated team player, thoroughness, curiosity, good writing skills and the desire to deliver an optimal customer experience are essential qualities for success in this position;
  • Possesses solid technical knowledge and takes the necessary steps to keep skills up to date and pursue professional development;
  • Bilingualism (spoken and written);
  • Knowledge of appropriate computer software (Microsoft Office Suite, Taxprep, etc.)
