Conseiller(ère) - Gestion de patrimoine (« Family office »)

As part of the Family Office team, you will work with the team on various accounting and tax compliance mandates for the investment companies, trusts and other related entities of our wealthy clients. This work requires a variety of interactions with associates, managers and partners, as well as directly with clients.

  • Perform customer bookkeeping in QBO;
  • Artifex investment accounting;
  • Manage customer (family) e-mail boxes;
  • Follow-up on deadlines;
  • Follow-up with banks for invoice payments;
  • Save documents (Caseware, etc.);
  • Prepare customer Dashboards (balance sheet, cash flow report, financial calendar, etc.);
  • Prepare various forms (powers of attorney, etc.);
  • Participate in customer onboarding;
  • Correspondence with government institutions, including requests for information;
  • Ensure a quality customer experience;
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our procedures and to the growth of the department.
  • Relevant studies in accounting or taxation;
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position;
  • Experience in a law firm or family office;
  • Excellent knowledge of Quickbooks online, Caseware, Taxprep and the MS Office suite;
    • Knowledge of Odoo, Acomba or Simply Accounting would be an asset
  • Good knowledge of investment accounting, mainly :
    • Stock market investments
    • Knowledge of insured products, limited partnerships and flow-through shares would be an asset
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing several mandates simultaneously while meeting deadlines and commitments;
  • Demonstrate innovation, adaptability and proactivity;
  • Autonomy, rigor, dedicated team player, collaborative spirit, concern for providing an optimal customer experience are essential qualities for the success of this position.
  • Bilingualism (spoken and written) would be an asset
