Directeur(trice)/DP Impartition comptable et financière

As part of the accounting and financial outsourcing team, the incubent will be autonomous and able to plan, organize and direct accounting outsourcing mandates. They will be the key resource in the development of the staff assigned to these files, and this work also requires various interactions with managers and associates, as well as directly with customers.

  • Manage customer portfolios;
  • Ensure a quality customer experience and support customers through various challenges;
  • Provide inspirational leadership to your team (coaching, training, performance management, etc.);
  • Review accounting records and monthly financial statements;
  • Critically review financial statements and make recommendations;
  • Participate in the preparation of cost estimates, billing and assignment of files;
  • Act as remote controller for mandates with relatively complex contexts (as needed);
  • Assist customers with tax and social legislation;
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our procedures and to the growth of the department.
  • Relevant accounting studies;
  • At least 7 years’ general accounting experience, including a minimum of 2-3 years in a similar position;
  • Practice experience;
  • Experience and recognized skills in team management: coaching, mobilization, supervision and skills development;
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting software (such as Quickbooks online, Acomba, Simply Accounting) and the MS Office suite;
  • Knowledge of Caseware and Taxprep software;
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing several mandates simultaneously while meeting deadlines and commitments;
  • Demonstrate innovation, adaptability and proactivity;
  • Autonomy, rigor, dedicated team player, collaborative spirit, concern for providing an optimal customer experience are essential qualities for the success of this position.
  • Bilingualism (spoken and written).
