Emergency financial support, assistance measures and a hotline are now available to businesses in the Montreal area.
SHOPS AND BUSINESSES
- 2nd municipal tax payment: deadline extended to July 2, 2020.
Payment deadlines for other invoices received, such as TCS contributions, remain unchanged.
- Emergency financial assistance: retail businesses, the social economy, creative and cultural industries and tourism will benefit from a $5 million assistance fund.
The details of this program have not yet been defined. They will be shared when appropriate.
- The other business support programs offered by the City of Montreal (PRAM) are maintained.
If your request for support has already been accepted, you will continue to receive the amounts provided. However, treatment may take longer.
MEASURE OFFERED BY PME MONTRÉAL
Available to private and social economy companies that have taken out a loan under the PME MTL fund, the Fonds Locaux de Solidarité and the Fonds de commercialisation des innovations.
- Automatic 6-month moratorium on principal and interest.
Ville de Montréal will pay the interest portion during this period.
