To apply for a refund on amounts of GST and/or QST that have been charged, companies must go to https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/649167531904667, and log in to their account.
Select the options highlighted in red, and enter the amount of reimbursement you require. In addition, in the “Description” section, the essential information to be provided is :
- Customer account number
- Transaction number
- QST number + proof of GST/QST registration
There is also the possibility of inserting a “Choose File” (see last red box), which could be used to add all the transactions for which a refund is requested.
Once the request has been created, a customer service agent will analyze the request and take the necessary action to process the refund, if you have proven that you are indeed registered for GST and/or QST.
