Accountant technician

As a member of the accounting and financial outsourcing team at our Brossard office, you will be autonomous and able to plan, organize and direct accounting outsourcing mandates. An important resource in the development of the staff assigned to these files, this work also requires various interactions with managers and associates, as well as directly with customers.

To keep up to date in certification, taxation and in all the fields of activity we need to cover for our
clientele, you will receive a stimulating training program.

  • Review accounting records and monthly financial statements
  • Critically review financial statements and make recommendations
  • Assist customers with tax and social legislation
  • Participate in the preparation of cost estimates, billing and assignment of files
  • Can act as a remote controller for mandates in relatively complex contexts
  • Review Notice to Reader files, financial statements and corporate tax returns.
  • Ensures the proper deployment of the firm’s impact strategy.
  • Relevant accounting studies

  • At least 7 years’ general accounting experience, including a minimum of 2-3 years in a similar position;
  • Practice experience
  • Experience and recognized skills in team management: coaching, mobilization,
    management and skills development
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Acomba, Simply Accounting, etc.)
    MS Office software)
  • Knowledge of Taxprep and Caseware software
  • Ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines and commitments
  • Bilingualism (spoken and written)
